Mini-Post Monday – Portraits

I love taking portraits. While I like taking pictures of anything that invokes a memory, I love being able to get great portraits of people. It feeds my need for perfection and it allows me to share my hobby to people who “don’t like getting their picture taken”. My main goal in photography is to convince people that everyone is photogenic at some point…some just are more often than others. I want people to have photos of themselves for the future. This was my reasoning behind the portraits Michele and I did before I got pregnant and my maternity photos. This was how I was and I want to remember that. I wanted to feel good about myself. Now I want to share that. This is my call on here. Have you been too shy to want your photo taken? Do you just want a nice profile pic for Facebook? Do you want to give it to your significent other? I will do it. Free. This will help me get better and help you feel better about yourself. Here are some examples of my work:

I am awful at getting my photo taken but I really would like this time in my life captured. This is the last time I will ever be pregnant.
Let me know what you think!

For reals, we need to do a trade.

I hire photographers for the boys’ birthday every year when all I want is a picture of the four of us in the same shot. You can even just give me all the RAW files and I will process them. I just need someone to take a semi-decent shot without wasting more money trying to find someone. Seriously last year, it took 6 months for the photographer to get us the photos!

Tradesies? I will take family photos for you!
