Halfway!…wait what?

Belly is hiding

20 weeks. WTF? How did that happen? 20 weeks have flown by. Granted with holidays you always lose some time.

Dolphin is now moving pretty regularly and even kicked Landon in the head while we were washing hands the other night.  I lay in bed most nights before I go to sleep feeling little jabs. This is my favorite part of pregnancy.  The part that is just me and him. I get to be selfish. Before he makes my stomach look like an Alien movie.

He must have had a growth spurt this week.  I went for a run on Sunday and each step felt like stretching.  I decided on walking and hoped it was just an off day.  I ran again Wednesday and it was fine. HOORAY! On that front, I am really slow but proud that I am still going strong. My feet don’t really hurt like last time. I just seem to struggle with calf pain going up hills so I just walk most. O well. At this rate, I can see going for a good bit longer than last time. I am planning on the pool this afternoon for some variety.

I am sleeping just fine with the every other night spell of needing to get up to pee. Most of the time I can sleep right through. I know I am blessed. No worries. A newborn will get his sweet sweet revenge.

I have no idea what weight I have gained.  I don’t really care.  I eat whatever within reason. If I splurge at one meal, I cut back for the rest of the day. I am just enjoying being pregnant….and salt and vinegar chips 🙂

You look great! I can’t believe you are halfway there either. And I’ll be happy to eat salt and vinegar chips with you any time!
