Mr. Manager

Exciting times in the Mann household as of recently. Kevin got a new job as the Unified Communications Manager. I know, I know. It sounds so fancy but basically think all the instant messaging, phone and web conferencing for a worldwide company of over 13,000 employees. Yeah…that. Neat, huh?

Little back story, Kevin has been at SAS for 11 years starting as a student on the help desk, then full time, then windows server group, then Lync team and now the manager!  If there ever was a person made for managing people, it would be him. He really wants the best for the company. He is a compassionate person when it comes to work/life but he has a rock solid work ethic and expects similar. Besides the fact that he is my husband, I think it was a great move on behalf of the company and excited to see how this plays out in the years to come.

So congrats to him and now mama can buy some new Target tank tops #momlife!

That’s really cool! It’s encouraging to see people who can work their way “up”. It takes time and patience! I admire someone who can stick to a job for 11 years… Must be a good man!
