Looking for support? The one thing I love about the internet community is that you can find support for everything. You are never alone. If I didn’t have moms like me online, I wouldn’t be where I am today. It has come in many forms. PPD support, miscarriage support, blogging mentors, working moms, and just plain awesome people to interact with and inspire me. I aim to share those resources when I can here.
PPD Support:
Just Moms Being Moms:
Running Support:
NCRC Women’s Beginner Running Program
Zombie Running with my cousin Sarah
General Do-Goodery:
Who would make better parents than the infamous @iHubby and @snazzy_mcgee?

If you have resources that have helped you, please let me know and I can add. It takes a village.
Hej Brandy!
Just like to thank you for your Spotify playlist for running. I stole it and use it while jogging around in the Stockholm, Sweden suburbs. (We still have snow as of April 2, but spring is coming along nicely). Great music! Good luck with your running!
Cheers/Bjorn
That is fantastic! I went to a party the other weekend and someone was there and their brother had found it. CRAZY! Enjoy. I hope to have a second one soon!

I’m so glad I stumbled upon your blog, I’ve only had time to skim through random posts but I can relate to so much of your writing! I’m actually a student mom and new to the world of blogging, looking to meet other moms who are balancing motherhood and jobs/school. And seeing how my real life social groups involve all single party-minded students, it’s very refreshing to be able to relate to others about the ups and downs of a life revolving around poopy diapers and creative toddler meals.
Thank you! Being a student mom sounds über hard. Hats off. Take a gander at http://www.liberatingworkingmoms.com for another great community. Welcome!

It’s interesting how in your logo in the upper left corner of your site you’ve listed all your self interests before your husband & family. Being a mommy is dead last on your list of priorities? Your husband is pretty far down that list too? Maybe you should focus on family more & less on selfish self interests. Maybe that’ll help with post partum depression.
James: You are obviously 1. Not a mom 2. A complete asshat and 3. Probably one of those strange creepers who go around causing arguments online.
You don’t like the blog? Don’t read it. But do not come here and talk shit when you know nothing about the author, except a logo on her blog. If you read her blog articles, maybe you’d realize she IS a good mom who tells it like it is. Which some of us like. Quit being a douche.
Sorry about the language, but I call it like I see it. Love your blog, mama – keep doing what you’re doin girl 🙂
Hahahaha. I didn’t see this comment until now. Yup. Hate being a mom so I list it last and blog about parenting. Yup. That’s it. See ya later, douchecanoe.
