Are you a teacher? What would you want?

April is our faculty appreciation month at the daycare. I am a glutton for punishment and Jodi and I signed up as the building coordinators. It has been insane. But not going to be all negative Nancy here. My point here is to see what people think is a good “gift”. We have a “goodie week” with a different theme per day but I can pretty much put anything on any day.

I just need ideas that
a) don’t cost a lot
b) are something people want and isn’t just crap and
c) are creative.

So daycare teachers (yeah Krista..you can answer too..that would be easy), school teachers, nanny, super babysitters…what would you want?

As a classroom teacher, the best gifts r gift cards! However, with goodie days and honor days that can be quite expensive!

Gift cards are my favorite gift, too. How about candy, an extra prep period, 15 minutes longer for lunch, someone to clean up a messy project, or catered breakfast or lunch?

Well we are taking them to lunch on their “honor day” and then there is a luncheon for the whole center one day. So that part is covered. I might offer to volunteer one day so they can get a break(don’t think I can legally give them extra time but I can play with the kids :)). Thanks!
