Daycare Love
So this is fitting on many levels. This week was official Teacher Appreciation Week. We love all of Landon’s teachers, past and present. We have been so lucky to have FANTASTIC teachers that have been our fellow parents on this journey. Complete with nose bleeds, explosive poop, potty training and toddler fight clubs. They truly make our lives better and we can’t thank them enough.
Second level, I was reading this awwww-worthy post from Shannon about the best moment of a working parent’s day: pickup. I said (as you can see in the comments), I am going to record Landon’s reaction to me when I get to school today. I was planning for the usual MOMMY!!!!!! scream and shake but what I got was so much better. This is Landon with his old toddler teacher, Miss Melissa which he refers to as “Missa”. She has more energy than anyone I have seen. This video is at 4:30 after working almost 9 hours with 10 toddlers. Oh and she has a 2 year old at home. Someone get this lady a medal.
While hearing my child scream my name when he sees me is a highlight of my day, seeing my baby so happy with his teachers makes my heart swell even more. So thank you to all the teachers that brighten my day:
Miss Brackett
Miss Julie
Miss Kim
Miss Jackie
Miss Melissa
Miss Krista
Miss Ashley
Miss Brynn (or my Binn as Landon says)
Miss Janelle (or my Manelle as Landon says)
Miss Donna
Miss Tonika
and all the support staff throughout the day at daycare
You all make me smile a little more everyday from your hilarious daily reports to the unending kisses you give our Lando. We couldn’t ask for more…unless you do weekends too 😉
I could not agree with you more. The BH teachers that we have had are awesome!
so so true 🙂 we are lucky, lucky moms to have these ladies 🙂
Thank you so much for this post, Brandy! It made me smile to know I’m appreciated! I miss getting to see my Lando every day!
Very sweet video! I love seeing the smile on D’s face when I pick him up and even though we’ve known his teachers for only 2 weeks, I love how patient and caring they are with him.
Love the video! And God bless that woman. She works with toddlers all day, loves on them like that, AND has a two-year-old at home? Saint status for real.
